Matthew Bowerman scored a team-high 14 points to lead the Spain Park to a 40-38 win Dec. 30 in double overtime as the Jags captured the Big Orange Classic title at Hoover High School.

Josh Drum added 10 points as Spain Park improved to 13-6 overall.

Bowerman scored 19 points as in a 63-46 win over Mountain Brook in the semifinals of the Big Orange Classic Dec. 29 at Hoover High School.

Drum added 18 points.

Bowerman scored 20 points to lead the Jags to a 62-53 win over Davidson in the tournament Dec. 28. Josh Drum added 17 points.

Mitchell Holt led Spain Park with 12 points in the Jags’ 56-40 win over John Carroll in the opening round of the tournament Dec. 26.
