John Robert Cannady, age 74, of Wilsonville, passed away peacefully in sleep with his loved ones at his side on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009.
He is remembered and missed by his wife Peggy Cannady; daughters, Anita Coffer, Carolyn Abbott, Donna Buffkin, Lori Litton and Connie Ledyard; sons, Justin Cannady and Randy Cannady; sister, Francis Hannah; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
He was a charter member of the Calera Elks Lodge.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Apostolic Truth Center in Columbiana. The family received friends from 6-7 p.m. prior to service time.
