Mattie L. Vick, age 94, of Shelby, died on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009. Funeral service was held at Bolton Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at 11 a.m. Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, from 10-11 a.m. at Bolton Funeral Home. Burial followed at Sterrett (Beulah) Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Monroe and Ada Bell Vick; brothers, Deck Vick, Preston “Pete” Vick and Billy Vick.
She is survived by her sister, Odessa Vick; grandson, Pete Hosey.
