Funeral service for Kenneth Gallups, age 53, of Montevallo was 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 9, at Bolton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Harpersville City Cemetery. The visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 9-11 a.m.
Mr. Gallups, who passed away, due to a car accident, on Monday, Jan. 4 was born on July 22, 1956, in Jefferson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Porter Harlen “Opa” and Marieanne “Oma” Gallups.
He is survived by his companion, Donna Light; children, Shane (Carolynn) Gallups, Tammy Gallups, David Gallups (Kiyra) Gallups, Samantha (Brian) Gallups; sister, Patricia Howe (Steve); brothers, Stephen (Sheila) Gallups, Terry (Vicki) Gallups and Phillip (Naysa) Gallups; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
