HomeServices Lending is pleased to announce that Scott Phillips was named President of HomeServices Lending/MortgageSouth effective Jan. 4. Phillips replaces Tarrant, who has served the organization well during the past six years. Tarrant will be retiring this month.

Phillips has been a sales manager and home mortgage consultant with MortgageSouth since 2007. He has consistently achieved high market share, service scores and production since joining the organization. He has been responsible for the mortgage origination in the Gardendale office and is a member of that community.

“Scott has been a leader in this organization through his industry knowledge, lending expertise, business development and management acumen since the day he arrived.
