Funeral service for Vivian Harris Denty, age 85, of Vincent, will be Friday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. at Vincent First Baptist Church. She will lie in state at the church from noon until time of the service. Burial will follow in Vincent City Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Lowe officiating. Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 25 from 6-9 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home.
Denty, who passed away Feb. 23, was a member of Vincent United Methodist Church and a long time member of Vincent City Council.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby (Pam) Denty and Franklin (Debbie) Denty; daughter, Maria (Raymond) Thomas; sister, Hope Harris; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
