Funeral service for Eugenia Ann Card, age 55, of Irondale, was held Friday, March 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Lighthouse Community Church in Harpersville. Burial followed in Vincent City Cemetery. Dr. B.R. Johnson officiated. Visitation was held Thursday, March 4 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the church and also from 10-11 a.m. Friday morning prior to the service.
Card, who passed away March 1, 2010, taught school at Vincent Elementary for 19 years. She led Prayer ministry and children’s ministry at Lighthouse Community Church in Harpersville. She collected lighthouses and loved to cross stitch. She loved her nieces and nephews and Alabama football. She graduated from Judson College and received her Masters at The University of Montevallo.
