Memorial service for Nelda Jean Smith, age 73, of Columbiana, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Wilsonville Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Thomas officiating. Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. before service.
Mrs. Smith, who passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010, at a local hospital, was born Sept. 11, 1936, in Cullman County.
She is survived by her husband Charles “Bud” Smith, daughters: Tina McDonald, Terri (Mark) Harless, Lydia (Cuong) Nguyen; grandchildren: Scotty McDonald, Jordan Harless and Reese Nguyen; great-grandchildren: Maleia and Makenna McDonald; brother, Derrell Posey and sister, Polly Collins and a host of other family and friends.
