The Shelby County Commission announced at the March 8 meeting the railroad crossings at Alabama 25 between Columbiana and Wilsonville and at U.S. 31 in Calera will be closed for upgrades March 13-14.

Norfolk Southern Railway Company has placed signs near the crossings to alert motorists. Detours will be set up while the crossings are closed.
