Funeral service for Edna M. Whitfield, age 82, will be Wednesday, March 17 at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Crest Cemetery in Birmingham. The Rev. Vint Arnold to officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17 from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel.
Whitfield, who passed away March 15, 2010, is preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur M. Glidwell; sons, Randy Glidwell and Jeff Glidwell; and her husband, Tartan A. Whitfield.
She is survived by her brother, Paul Callahan and numerous nieces and nephews.
