Montevallo crowns winners in Day of Pageants

Montevallo High School Katie Bitz recently brought home the top prize during the city’s 2010 Day of Pageants.

The event featured pageants for kindergarteners through 12th-graders, who competed in four separate categories.

Bitz was crowned the winner of the Miss MHS Pageant, which featured ninth-through-12th-graders.

Kayla Cunningham was named first runner-up, Nelysia Knight was second runner-up, Elissha Bennett was third runner-up, Rachel Peete was fourth runner-up and Rebekah Fowler was named fifth runner-up.

Mathilde Reinecke was named Miss Congeniality of the Miss MHS Pageant.

Kelsie Sanders was crowned the winner of the Junior Miss Pageant, which featured grades six through eight.

First runner-up was Jill Brantley, second runner-up was Guadalupe Serrano, Natalie Holsomback was third runner-up and Jessie Harbuck was fourth runner-up. Breagan Davenport was the Junior Miss Congeniality.

The Young Miss Pageant featured grades three through five, and Kate Frederick was crowned the pageant’s winner.

Brooklyn Robertson was the first runner-up, Danielle Douglas was the second runner-up, Alexis Busenlehner was the third runner-up and Triniti Tolbert was the fourth runner-up.

Katelin Alexander was the fifth-grade princess, Kanan Harbuck was the fourth-grade princess and Elizabeth Hughston was the third-grade princess.

Mia Faith Cottingham was crowned the winner of the Little Miss Montevallo Pageant, which was held for kindergarteners through second-graders.

Aniya Rutledge was the first runner-up, Hayden Dennis was the second runner-up, Savana Smith was the third runner-up and Morgan Honeycutt was the fourth runner-up.

Chloe Spears was the second-grade princess, Holley Ferguson was the first-grade princess and Josie Bratton was the kindergarten princess.
