Funeral service for Sarah Sewell Brasher, age 72, of Shelby, was held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010, at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana. Burial followed in Hubbard Cemetery. Visitation was from 5:30-7 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brasher, who passed away Friday, April 9, 2010, at her residence, was born Sept. 8, 1937, in Birmingham.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Brasher; son, Joel Berryhill (Schalana); daughter, Beth Carter (Michael); step-son, Chris Brasher (Tracey); step-daughter, Lisa Brasher (Pattie Williams); sister, Dale S. Parker (Chadd); grandsons, Jacob Taylor, Joel Brandon Berryhill and William Joel Defoor; step-grandsons, Jesse Thompson, Richard Thompson, Christopher Brasher and Eric Brasher; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
