A suspect has been arrested in connection with vehicle break-ins in Hoover, according to Hoover Police Capt. Jim Coker.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, was arrested by the Vestavia Police Department and the Birmingham Police Department.

The break-ins occurred in Hoover on the Jefferson County side. The suspect then used stolen credit cards in Shelby County, primarily in Pelham.

The suspect is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on several felonies.
