Pelham boys golf edges Homewood
The Pelham High School boys’ golf team edged Homewood by 22 strokes in a high school golf match April 15 at Robert Trent Jones’ Ridge course at Oxmoor Valley.
The Panthers won by a score of 151-173.
Pelham was led by medalist Connor Slane, who shot a 36. Taylor Freeman and Justin Nolen shot 38 each and Braxton Holley added a 39. Pelham had four golfers with a score in the 30s for the first time this season.
Pelham will be back in action in a tournament April 19-20 in Oxford at Cider Ridge Golf Club.
