Honesty completely lacking in accident
Dear Editor,
On April 7, around 5 p.m., at Piggly Wiggly in Columbiana, I returned to my vehicle and discovered that my car had been hit on the rear bumper on the driver’s side.
There wasn’t a note left. No one stayed to see who owned the car.
I consider this to be a hit and run.
What happened to honesty? What about one’s conscience? Now I have to pay for this out of my own pocket. Does that seem fair? If you don’t have insurance, get it — it’s the law.
If you did this or witnessed it, leave a message with the Shelby County Reporter. My vehicle is a silver Pathfinder.
If you hit a vehicle don’t just leave.
At least leave a note on the windshield. It’s the right thing to do.
