Faulkner opens Shelby campus
Faulkner University’s Birmingham campus opened its doors on Valleydale Road in late March.
The campus was formerly located at the Riverchase Center, but moved to gain more space for students. The new location, which cost about $3.5 million to build, is 47,000-square-feet and will host the Birmingham campus’ 475 students.
Faulkner has operated a campus in Birmingham since 1975, offering bachelor’s degrees in business administration, criminal justice and human resources management, as well as various associate’s degrees.
