The Vincent High School softball team ended its season with back-to-back losses in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A North Central region tournament May 7 at Liberty Park in Vestavia Hills.

The Yellow Jackets fell 9-2 to Ranburne in their opener and were knocked out of the postseason following a 15-5 loss to Geraldine.

Tori Cato, Ashleigh McCloud and Morgan O’Steen went 1-for-3 each at the plate for Vincent in the loss to Ranburne.

Courtney Holston struck out four as she took the loss.

Cato and Kayla Burdine finished 2-for-3 each at the plate in the loss to Geraldine.

Holston struck out one batter in the loss.
