Professional player to hold basketball camp at Shelby County
Shelby County High School alum and current professional basketball player Bobby Madison will hold a camp for youth at the school June 15-18.
Madison played professionally last season in Portugal.
Registration for the camp will take place May 22-23 at Charles Dickinson Gymnasium. Registration will be from 9 a.m.-noon on May 22 and 3 p.m.-5 p.m. on May 23.
The participation fee is $65 for a single child and $50 for each sibling when more than one child is registered. Registration is $75 after June 5. The camp is open to both boys and girls.
The camp features a staff of experienced coaches, former and current college and pro players, competitive games, contests and tournaments, camp t-shirts, a packet full of basketball drills and a chance to win individual awards and prizes.
