Funeral service for Elsie Frith Henderson, age 89, of Wetumpka, will be Friday, May 28, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Bro. Eddie Ruddick and Bro. Ronnie Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in the church’s adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 27, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. There will also be a visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Henderson, who passed away May 25, 2010, at her home, is survived by her daughters, Annette Smitherman (Stanley), Fae Davis, Roberta Mays (Cliff) and Magdalene Milstead (Doug); sons, Ellis Henderson (Peggy) and John Henderson (Jewel); sisters, Doris Alred and Helen Jones; brother, Buddy Frith; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
