Alabama Sports Festival in Shelby County

Select sports competition in the Alabama Sports Festival will be held June 18-20 in Shelby County.
Athletes from across the state will compete in more than 20 athletic competitions in the Birmingham metro area.
Parts of the baseball, basketball and softball competitions will take place at Spain Park High School and the Spain Park Sports Complex.
The archery/bowhunting, BMX, disc golf, gymnastics, shooting sports, adult soccer and triathlon competitions will be held exclusively in Shelby County.
The archery/bowhunting competition will take place at the Howard Hill Archery Range in Wilsonville. The BMX races will be held at the Oak Mountain State Park BMX track. Disc Golf will take place on the University of Montevallo campus.
Indian Springs School will be the host gymnasium for the gymnastics competition.
Shooting sports competition will be held at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Training Center in Columbiana. Adult soccer games will take place at the Sports Blast 1996 Complex. The triathlon will be held at Oak Mountain State Park.
In addition to the competitions held in Shelby County, the Oak Mountain High School football team will compete in the Alabama Sports Festival’s first ever 7-on-7 football competition at Hoover High School. The Eagles can secure a spot in the National Select 7-on-7 football competition at Hoover in late July by winning the tournament this weekend.
