The Pelham High School “Tower of Power” Band traveled to San Antonio April 24-25 to participate in the Fiesta Flambeau Parade. More than 1 million spectators were on hand along the parade route to watch as Pelham’s Band placed second overall in the parade competition among the 160 walking/marching units participating with the first place honors going to a band from Mexico. The Fiesta parade is an evening parade where all parade participants are required to be lighted.
