Pelham Police arrested a Pleasant Grove woman following a burglary at the Pelham Sno Biz.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Jennifer Ann Drake and charged her with one count of third-degree burglary.

The arrest came after someone called authorities to report a burglary in progress at the Sno Biz on U.S. 31.

When police arrived, witnesses led them to a suspect at the nearby Oak Mountain Lodge hotel.

Officers discovered Drake had injuries consistent with the damage at the business, and arrested her without incident, according to a Pelham Police Department press release.

As of July 9, Drake was being held in the Shelby County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
