Rickey Jerome “R.J.” Hogue Jr., age 22, of West Blocton passed away, Sunday, July 11.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Julia Griffin. He is survived by his wife, Destiny Anne Hogue of Shelby County; father, Rickey Hogue of West Blocton; mother, Tina Roberts of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandparents, Horace and Hallie Hogue of West Blocton; brother, Wesley Hogue of Tallahassee, Fla.; and sister, Kristian Griffin of Huntsville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 13 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Centreville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 14 at 11 a.m. at Schultz Creek Baptist Church with burial following in the adjoining cemetery. He will lay-in-state one hour prior to service. Rev.
