FINAL: Shelby County runoff election results

Shelby County citizens have gone to the polls today to vote in Republican and Democratic runoff elections for various state and local races. The polls closed at 7 p.m., so we’ll be constantly updating this story as results come in.

Republican runoff elections:

Governor (with 75 of 76 precincts reporting)

Robert Bentley — 13303 (Bentley has won Shelby County)

Bradley Byrne — 12319

Commissioner of Agriculture (with 75 of 76 precincts reporting)

Dorman Grace — 13748 (Grace has won Shelby County)

John McMillan — 9735

Public Service Commissioner, Place 1 (with 75 of 76 precincts reporting)

Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh — 14895 (Cavanaugh has won Shelby County)

Stephen Evans — 8105

Shelby County Board of Education, Place 2 (with 75 of 76 precincts reporting)

Anne Glass — 9713

Aubrey Miller — 12221 (Miller has won and has no Democratic challengers, so he will take the Place 2 seat)

Democratic runoff elections:

Attorney General (with 75 of 76 precincts reporting)

James Anderson — 339 (Anderson has won Shelby County)

Giles Perkins — 276
