Junior Compton, age 64 of Montevallo, passed away Monday, Aug. 16, 2010.  Mr. Compton was preceded in death by parents, Algie and Larita Compton; and sisters, Myrtle Compton and Brenda Ellison.   He is survived by his wife, Angie Compton; daughters, Lisa Lane Compton, Tina Compton Dobbs (Marty); and Destinee Hope Compton; sisters, Peggy LaGrone (David), Edna Stephens (Kermit), Myra Emfinger, Glenda Cook (Bob), and Sandra Duke (Gene); brother, Earl Compton (Carolyn); grandson, Matthew Lane Wilmer; and nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation was at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo, on Thursday, Aug. 19 from 9:30-11 a.m.  Funeral services were held at the chapel at 11 a.m. where Rev. Bill Trawick officiated.  Mr. Compton was buried at Enon Cemetery.  Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo directed.  Rockcofuneralhomes.com
