Teresa A. Champion, age 52 of Hoover, passed away on Friday, Aug. 20, 2010 at a local hospital. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m., Monday, Aug. 23 at Shelby Garden of Rest. The family receive friends Monday, Aug. 23 from will receive 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Mrs. Champion is preceded in death by parents, Calvin and Lola Faye Benson Burks; and sister, Sherry Snipes. She is survived by husband, Jerry Champion; daughter, Melissa Hutchison; granddaughter, Arwen Hutchison; sisters, Donna Goggins, Lori Fullerton and Lisa Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
