A nine-member search committee of the Birmingham Business Alliance has selected Jorgenson Consulting to assist in the process of selecting a president and CEO of the BBA.
Committee chair Johnny Johns of Protective Life Corp. said the selection was based on Jorgenson’s extensive experience in executive searches for similar organizations.
Johns said Jorgenson will interview key stakeholders to determine the core competencies needed for the job. They will then identify and assess candidates before presenting them to the search committee.  The process is expected to span several months.
“As the BBA launches Blueprint Birmingham, a five-year strategic plan for the Birmingham region, we are absolutely committed to selecting the best candidate to lead this very important organization,” Johns said.
