Margaret Boothe Smith, age 70, of Alabaster, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Lois Colburn; husband, James Boothe; grandson, Justin Boothe; and brother, James Allen Colburn. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Leon ‘Buddy’ Smith; son, Steven J. Boothe (Anita); daughters, Holly Moody (Tim) and Pamela Boothe; grandchildren, Harmony Cesnick, Haley Moody, Robby Boothe, Megan Johnson, and Haven Johnson; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 27 at 3 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo. Burial followed at Ashby Cemetery. Rev. Scott Fowler officiating. Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directing.
