Spain Park High School runner Madeline Held led the Jaguars with a fifth-place finish Sept. 4 at the 2010 Berry Invitational at the Clara Bowl in Rome, Ga.

Held posted a time of 19:15 in the first 5K race of the season for Spain Park. Kristen Spence came in 37th overall with a time of 20:41.

The Spain Park girls came in 26th place in the team standings.

Brandon Hazouri led the Spain Park boys with a time of 16:31, which placed him 18th overall in the individual standings.

Steven Crain finished 73rd overall for the Jaguars, who came in 27th in the team standings.
