Annie Wilkinson Birchfield, 95, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010 at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton. Her husband of 57 years, John Birchfield and two sons, Larry and Tommy Birchfield, preceded Mrs. Birchfield in death.  She was strong in faith and character and will be loved and missed forever. She is survived by her son, Tim Birchfield (Jane); daughter, Barbara Haynie (Philip); brother, William Quinton Wilkinson; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo where Rev. Henry Joiner officiated.  Visitation was from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home and burial followed in Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera.
