Luke Jones, age 72, a resident of Shelby, passed away Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Bolton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Linholm and Bro. Daryl Haymaker officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace Jones and his brother, Bobby Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Elsie Jones; sons, Tommy Jones (Debra) and Michael Luke Jones (Stacey); grandchildren, Crystal Moore (Shane), Steven Jones, Kevin Jones and Ashlyn Jones; great-grand children, Robert Moore and Mason Jones; brothers, James E. Jones (Margaret), J.V. Jones (Elsie); Charles Jones (Mildred), Harvey Jones (Linda) and Doc Jones; sisters, Mary Jo Reynolds, Joyce Pearson and Ruby Linholm (Terry); and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
