Brandy Edwards of Girl Scout Troop 76 wanted to make a difference in her community by educating local students on all aspects of photography, how to use a camera and related professions.

The course was offered twice a week for four weeks. During the sessions, she brought in professional photographers, took the kids on field trips around the community to take pictures and also taught them how to scrapbook their photos. Edwards, a graduate of Montevallo High School, attends the University of Alabama and is the daughter of Terry and Patsy Edwards of Centreville.
