The Calera High School boys’ basketball team picked up its second win over a Class 6A opponent in the span of four days Nov. 27 following a 66-58 win over Jeff Davis in its final game in the Sneaky Pete’s Rebel Classic at Vestavia Hills.

Deondre Haynes led the Eagles (3-1) with 25 points in the third-place game.

Titus Adams added 19 points. Blayne Sumrall chipped in 12 points.

Spain Park defeats Shades Valley in final tournament game

The Spain Park High School boys’ basketball team defeated Shades Valley 56-46 in its final game Nov. 27 in the Sneaky Pete’s Rebel Classic at Vestavia Hills.

Frank Hedden led the Jaguars (3-2) with 20 points.

Mitchell Holt added 13 points.

Jaguars end tournament with loss to Sparkman

The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team capped play in the Snead State Community College Thanksgiving tournament Nov. 27 with a 64-36 loss to Sparkman.

Ashley Gaston led the Jaguars (4-2) with nine points.

Kelsie Williams added eight points. Jasmine Moore grabbed four rebounds in the loss.
