Homer W. Richardson, age 91, passed away at his home on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010. He was a longtime resident of Montevallo and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Montevallo. Mr. Homer was preceded in death by his wife, Mearle Richardson; and brother, Reginald Richardson. He is survived by his son, Gary Stephen Richardson of Birmingham.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Montevallo. Officiating the services are Rev. Brian Wyatt and Rev. Buddy Freeman.
