Johnnie C. Adams Knueppel, age 69, of Clanton, passed away on January 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born on November 28, 1941 in Shelby County, the daughter of the late John Coshatt and the late Annie Glass Coshatt.

She is survived by her son, Paul Coshatt (Gloria) of Clanton; along with six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois Scott of Wilsonville; brother, Noah Junior Whatley of Montevallo; brother, Earl Whatley of Columbia, S.C.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Mims Funeral Home with Rev. Don Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
