The Shelby County High School boys’ basketball team edged Bibb County 67-66 in high school basketball action Jan. 20.

Tyler Madison led the Wildcats (8-11) with 25 points. Madison also grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Ty Lollar contributed 23 points in the victory.

GIRLS

The Shelby County High School girls’ basketball team defeated Bibb County 60-39 in high school basketball action Jan. 20.

Tempest Cantrell led the Wildcats (13-5) with 15 points.

Alexis Lewis added 14 points. Amber Johnson contributed 10 points in the victory.
