Shelby County wrestlers drop match with Minor

The Shelby County High School wrestling team dropped fell to Minor 60-12 in a dual meet Jan. 20.
Two Shelby County wrestlers won their individual matches against Minor.
The Wildcats’ Chase Weeks pinned Nick Holman of Minor in the 145-pound match. Jeffrey Hughes of Shelby County won the 152-pound match by forfeit.
Noah Dorough of Shelby County was pinned by Minor’s Jerein Harris in the 103-pound match. The Wildcats’ Jonathan Perrine was pinned by Roman Sanchez of Minor in the 135-pound match.
Nathan Harrington of Shelby County was pinned by Khalil Jefferson of Minor in the 140-pound match. Shelby County’s Keaton Wood was pinned by Jonathan Hagler of Minor in the 160-pound match.
Shelby County 189-pounder Stephen Erhart was pinned by Micah Davis of Minor. Joey Guthrie of Shelby County was pinned by Minor’s Tre King in the 215-pound match.
Shelby County heavyweight Jacob Oliver was pinned by Tyler Garner of Minor.
