The Montevallo High School girls’ basketball team defeated McAdory 54-36 on senior night in high school basketball action Jan. 26.

Amber Cardwell led the Bulldogs (10-7) with 33 points. Cardwell also grabbed 17 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Savannah Smith added three points and a team-high five assists in the victory.

BOYS

The Montevallo High School boys’ basketball team fell to McAdory 55-35 on senior night in high school basketball action Jan. 26.

Garrius Chappell led the Bulldogs (4-15) with 13 points.

Rashard Jones added 10 points in the defeat.
