The Evangel Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated New Life Christian 67-34 in an Alabama Christian Sports Conference contest Jan. 28.

DaJon Townson led the Lightning (15-1 overall, 13-1 in Alabama Christian Sports Conference) with 16 points.

Rodney King added 11 points. Aaron Walker contributed 10 points in the victory.
