The Calera High School boys’ basketball team defeated rival Montevallo 88-40 in high school basketball action Feb. 4.

Titus Adams led the Eagles (19-7) with a game-high 16 points.

Deondre Haynes added 15 points. Ronnie Clark contributed 14 points in the victory.

Rashard Jones led Montevallo with 10 points.

Demetrouse Conwell finished with nine points in the defeat.

GIRLS

The Montevallo High School girls’ basketball team defeated rival Calera 51-27 in high school basketball action Feb. 4.

Amber Cardwell led the Bulldogs (14-9) with a game-high 19 points.

A’Kia Harris led Calera with 10 points.
