Oak Mountain defeats Auburn in opening match

The Oak Mountain High School girls’ soccer team defeated Auburn 4-0 in its season-opening match Feb. 15.
Four different players scored a goal for the Eagles (1-0) in the victory.
Allie Mosher scored a penalty-kick goal in the 15th minute. T.J. Langlois scored an unassisted goal in the 30th minute to give Oak Mountain a 2-0 lead at the break.
Megan Dancy scored a goal off an assist from Emma Gambrell in the 51st minute. Elizabeth Graham scored an unassisted goal in the 80th minute.
Oak Mountain goalkeeper Jill Hester finished with two saves in her first shutout of the season.
