The Thompson High School girls’ soccer team defeated Clay-Chalkville 3-0 in its season-opening match Feb. 16.

Alli Watts led the Warriors (1-0) with two goals in the victory.

Alyssa Mayer also scored a goal in the win and finished with one assist. Michaela Graber and Mariah Poe finished with one assist each.

Thompson goalkeeper Kelsey Ferguson recorded one save as she posted her first shutout of the season.
