The Pelham High School girls’ tennis team fell to Hoover 8-1 in a high school tennis match Feb. 17.

The Panthers won one doubles’ match against Hoover.

Sydney Garner and Katie Kema of Pelham defeated Ria Bennett and Courtney Schrock of Hoover 8-4 in a doubles’ match.

Garner, Kema, Brooke Cole, Kathryn White, Leanna Cocke and Lauren Rowland each dropped singles’ matches against Hoover.

Teams consisting of Cocke and White and Rowland and Cole dropped doubles’ matches against Hoover.
