Thompson posts a draw and a loss in Southern Shootout

The Thompson High School boys’ soccer team earned a 3-3 draw with Murphy and dropped a match Feb. 18 with Daphne 2-0 on the first day of the Southern Shootout in Mobile.
Three players scored a goal each for the Warriors (0-1-1) in the draw with Murphy.
Paul Karanja, Jacob Ramsey and Dylan Barrett scored one goal each in the tie.
Thompson goalkeeper Eric Hubbard posted eight saves in the draw.
Hubbard finished with five saves in the first half in the 2-0 loss to Daphne.
Fellow Thompson goalkeeper Denorris Posey finished with one save in the defeat.
