The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Kingwood Christian School 22-5 in high school baseball action Feb. 22.

The Rebels racked up 14 hits in the game.

John Bullen led Coosa Valley (5-0) at the plate with three hits, including a double, and an RBI.

Hunter Roe finished with two hits and drove in two runs. Jared Mims finished with two doubles and an RBI. Myles Varner had a double and an RBI.

Saxon Grimes finished with a double and an RBI. Hunter Winslett finished with two hits, inlcuding a double, and an RBI. Cody Wood finished with a hit and an RBI.

Nick Bates (2-0) picked up the win on the mound after striking out seven batters in three innings.
