The Pelham High School girls’ tennis team fell to Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 6-3 in a high school tennis match Feb. 24.

The Panthers won two singles’ match and one doubles’ match against Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa.

Sydney Garner of Pelham defeated Khrisia Vasquez of Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 6-3, 1-6, 12-10 in the No. 1 singles’ match. The Panthers’ Katie Kema defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa’s Maggie Tinsley 7-5, 6-1 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Garner and Kema defeated Vasquez and Tinsley 10-5 in the No. 1 doubles’ match.
