The Chelsea High School softball team fell to Hoover 2-1 in its opening game at the Hewitt-Trussville tournament Feb. 25.

Allie Luster led the Hornets (0-1) at the plate as she finished 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Kaitlyn Bice went 1-for-3. Bice took the loss on the mound after giving up two runs, including one earned run, on six hits with four strikeouts in a complete game.
