The Briarwood Christian School girls’ soccer team battled to a 2-2 tie with Altamont in high school soccer action March 1.

The Lions (2-3-2) led 2-0 at halftime after receiving first-half goals from Ally Jennings and Savannah Penny.

Altamont rallied to score two goals in the second half.

Briarwood Christian goalkeeper Sarah Drew Mulvaney posted a shut out in the first half. Fellow goalkeeper Anna Handlin finished with three saves in the second half.
