Cornerstone Christian defeats Kingwood Christian in tournament

The Cornerstone Christian School baseball team defeated Kingwood Christian 10-2 in its opening game at the Prattville Christian tournament March 3.
Austin Davis led the Chargers (1-1) at the plate as he finished 2-for-2 with two doubles. Davis drove in a run and scored a run.
Josh Anderson finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Aaron Eastman went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. Sterling Reither finished 1-for-2 and scored two runs.
Clayton Halbert went 1-for-1 and scored a run. Dylan Rodgers, Hagan Joiner and Auston Wingard drove in one run each. Tim Warren scored a run.
Davis picked up the win on the mound after giving up one unearned run on one hit with three strikeouts and a walk in three innings. Austin Andrews gave up one earned run on two hits with one strikeout in two innings in relief.
