The city of Calera has completed the re-programming and upgrades of its severe weather sirens, Fire Chief Sean Kendrick announced March 7.

All sirens are in service and have been reprogrammed to the narrow band and are compliant with the FCC’s new regulations for emergency service radio frequencies.
